Make Your Own Upcycled Scrunchies: Sew, Customise, Sip & Chat

Give leftover fabric a new life and craft your own beautiful scrunchies at this cosy, creative hand-sewing workshop! Hosted in partnership with the mend, a platform dedicated to showing you how circular fashion is an accessible, affordable and exciting alternative to fast-fashion. This event is all about slowing down, stitching mindfully and discovering the joy of making something creative from materials that already exist.

We’ll be hand-sewing scrunchies from second-hand scrap fabric. You’ll choose from an assortment of beautiful textile offcuts - and learn simple hand-stitching techniques to create a one-of-a-kind accessory.

Whether you’ve never picked up a needle before, are an experienced maker or just curious to try something new, this relaxed event is all about having fun being creative, and leaving with a scrunchie that’s uniquely yours. Come for the scrunchies, stay for the conversations, and leave with accessories you’ll want to wear every day.
